These Brown Sugar Beer Brats are my kind of easy. Juicy brats hit the Brat Jacuzzi, a beer bath loaded with onions, garlic, and brown sugar, then soak up all that dark beer flavor until they're stupid good. Fire up the grill or make them inside, pile 'em high on a bun with your favorite toppings, and go to town.

Ingredients
2 pkgs Johnsonville Bratwursts
2 yellow onions, sliced
1 cup brown sugar, dark or light
2 tbsp minced fresh garlic
1-2 Shiner Bock Beers, or any dark beer
1 tbsp Carne Sutra Seasoning, optional
blank
Southern Mustard Sauce
10 hot dog buns, or hoagie rolls
sauerkraut, optional
Directions
blank
Sear the brats in butter in a large saucepan, then pull them off.
Toss your onions, garlic, brown sugar, and Carne Sutra seasoning (if using) in the pan and let it all sauté down.
Pour in a Shiner Bock and add the brats back in. Bring it to a boil, then lower the temp to medium and continuing cooking for 20-25 minutes.
blank
Heat your grill to hot. Mix all ingredients in a foil pan, cover tightly with foil and bring to a boil.
Let boil on the grill for 20-25 minutes.

Serve brats on buns and pile high with the onions, a healthy drizzle of TD's Brew & BBQ Southern Mustard Sauce and sauerkraut, if you prefer.
